Tiledesk’s Q2 2024 updates: New improvements that you won’t miss

Today, I’m excited to share with you the latest enhancements to Tiledesk. These improvements have been implemented based on your invaluable feedback and requests, which help us ensure our product fits the market needs.

Without a doubt, the domain of conversational AI is one of the most rapidly evolving technologies. Every day, new features are being released, and an increasing number of companies are starting to use AI to automate their business conversations, workflows, and processes, thereby boosting sales and marketing.

We are thrilled to see how our customers are leveraging our service to enhance their Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) and boost the productivity of their customer support teams.

Leverage ChatGPT-4o for enhanced communication

After the release of OpenAI’s new model, ChatGPT-4o, we tested the model and achieved some remarkable results. It can process data more effectively and provide faster responses. We decided to rapidly integrate it into the Tiledesk dashboard.

We are proud to be among the few conversational AI companies that offer a native integration, allowing customers to utilize its power.

Now, by clicking on the “Ask Knowledge Base” action, you will see ChatGPT-4o listed among the other models.

Boost AI Agent accuracy with the right knowledge base

Knowledge is power. That’s why we’ve worked diligently on our knowledge base system to provide a better experience for your users.

A significant new improvement is the ability to select the appropriate knowledge base for each bot/block.

This feature helps prevent your bot from getting confused with different sources, which could lead to inaccurate responses.

By clicking on the “Ask Knowledge Base” action, you’ll now see a new option called “Choose Knowledge Base” in the right side menu.

This method ensures your bot accesses the correct source to respond accurately to your customer inquiries.

Train your AI Agent with more diverse sources

Over the past few months, in response to your requests, we’ve developed new ways to add content to your Tiledesk dashboard.

Now, you can upload different file formats like DOCX and PDF, in addition to the previous methods – sitemap, website URLs, and plain text.

Simply upload your content in the preferred format, and your bot will respond to user needs based on this information.

By providing clean and accurate content, you can ensure your bot’s behavior is highly accurate.

AI settings for better management of your monthly AI Tokens

OpenAI models break down text into units called tokens, which can be parts of words, punctuation, or emojis. Based on your plan, you have a predefined number of AI tokens.

We’ve developed a new section in the Tiledesk dashboard, located in the top right, called “Usage”.

By clicking on it, you will see your current usage of AI tokens. If you incorporate AI features into your design flow, you will need to monitor your AI usage to avoid consuming all your tokens.

Keep in mind that the number of AI tokens will be recharged monthly.

Seamlessly integrate your AI Agent with OpenAI’s AI Assistant

Recently, OpenAI introduced a new feature called the AI Assistant.

This assistant is exceptional at working with numeric data and can perform calculations accurately. If you want your bot to work with, for example, a Google Sheets file accurately, this AI Assistant can be incredibly helpful.

One of the use cases we’ve built for a customer is an AI sales advisor using this AI Assistant. With a Google Sheets file of the product listing, the bot can ask for the user’s preferences and then, referring to the sheet file, provide the best product fit. It’s amazing to see how this bot can provide accurate responses, calculate discounts based on quantity, and share product page URLs.

We’ve added a new action called “ChatGPT Assistant” that enables you to interact with OpenAI assistant directly.

Keep in mind that to use the action, you need a custom plan in OpenAI. If you don’t have it yet, worry not, contact us and we will provide it for you.

With this technology, users can find their preferred product in seconds, instead of browsing hundreds of product pages.

You can follow this written tutorial to create your first AI assistant. Also, the video below demonstrates how this AI sales advisor has been built and its strengths compared to the RAG chatbot.

Generate more leads and automatically save them on Brevo

Brevo is a well-known CRM platform that allows you to unify, manage, and sync customer data to accelerate your time-to-value. It also helps manage your pipeline and accelerate revenue growth across the entire sales cycle.

We’re pleased to announce that your Tiledesk bot can now be natively integrated with Brevo.

This means you can generate and qualify leads via your AI agents and automatically save them on your Brevo CRM for further communication.

We have also published a tutorial for Brevo to help you get started more easily.

 

Integrate your AI Agent with n8n – A powerful automation designer tool

Undoubtedly, n8n is another powerful automation designer tool. It boasts over 220 pre-built integrations and a general connector for anything with an API.

We have recently developed an integration with n8n in the Tiledesk Design Studio. This enables you to create more automation with various third-party apps. This integration will remarkably reduce workflows through automation, saving your agents valuable time.

Automate tracking inquiries of your E-commerce with Qapla’ integration

Qapla’ is an Italian company that facilitates post-sales services for e-commerce. It offers a suite of tools for real-time shipment tracking. With the Qapla’ integration, you can enable your AI agent to automate responses to frequent tracking queries and promptly provide accurate parcel status using just the tracking number, enhancing your e-commerce customer support.
