What’s new in Tiledesk: flexible widget, faster Knowledge Base & more

Today, September 26, we are excited to share a set of improvements that make Tiledesk more flexible, more reliable, and easier to use for everyone.

Let’s dive in and explore them one by one.

A Widget that Adapts to Your Content

Conversations are not always just text. Sometimes they include images, tables, or even videos. To make sure everything looks good, the chat widget now supports three display modes:

  • Normal – the standard view

  • Extended – a larger panel for more space

  • Centered – a big screen view in the middle of the page

This flexibility gives end users a smoother experience and makes it easier to consume different types of content inside the chat.

Faster and Smoother Experience

Performance has been a focus in this release.

  • The Knowledge Base has been optimized to deliver results more quickly, even with large datasets.

  • The Web Console now runs more efficiently, so navigating and managing your projects feels much more fluid.

Easier Access to Resources

To help teams get the right information at the right moment, we have:

  • Added direct links to documentation inside the dashboard

  • Expanded translations so the platform feels natural for more users around the world

More Control and Stability

Administrators now have the option to manage allowed upload extensions directly from Project Settings, giving them more control over file security.

We also resolved a small but noticeable bug: the feature that detects emoticons in callout messages has been fixed, so emojis now appear exactly as intended.

These improvements make Tiledesk more reliable, more enjoyable to use, and better prepared for the variety of content and workflows our users rely on every day.
